Precautions before / after surgery
Caution before surgery
- Avoid sun exposure for at least 3–5 days before treatment. → Use sunscreen SPF 50+ daily.
- Refrain from using exfoliants or retinol-based products for 3 days prior.
- No alcohol or blood-thinning medications (e.g., aspirin) 24 hours before the procedure.
- Please inform the clinic if you are:
- Pregnant or breastfeeding.
- Taking medication or antibiotics.
- Having skin infections, open wounds, or active acne outbreaks.
- Clean your face before arrival (no makeup preferred on the treatment day)
Caution after surgery
- Avoid saunas, hot baths, and exercise that induces heavy sweating for 24–48 hours.
- Apply soothing and hydrating creams (e.g., aloe vera, hyaluronic acid) as advised.
- Do not use exfoliating products or scrub your skin for at least 5–7 days.
- Avoid direct sun exposure for 1 week; use broad-spectrum sunscreen (SPF 50+) daily.
- Some redness or mild swelling may occur — this is normal and should subside within 1–2 days.
- For treatments involving lasers, RF, or injectables:
- No alcohol and no makeup for at least 24 hours.
- Do not massage the treated area unless instructed.
